Following the school’s ‘outstanding’ Ofsted inspection, the religious life of the school has now been inspected by Salford Diocese.
"Outstanding"
It's official! In November 2009 Ofsted described St Peter’s as “an outstanding school, where students from a wide range of backgrounds achieve well.”
St Peter’s pupils and staff have been presented with the Healthy Schools Gold Award.

Congratulations to all our year 11 students on achieving outstanding results this year. 75% of students achieved 5+A*-C grades and 48% of students achieved those grades with English and mathematics at grade ‘C’ or better.
Again this year a number of students achieved remarkable results with a string of A* and A grades. For all our students their success would not have been achieved without their hard work, the dedication of their teachers and the support of their families.
These results confirm St Peter's as one of the most successful and highest achieving schools in Manchester.
Well done!
